Is ETI an Accredited School?

ETI is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools & Colleges (ACCSC). We are approved by the United States Department of Education to participate in the Federal Financial Aid Program. And we are authorized to operate by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.

Where is ETI located?

Our campus is located at 500 Joliet Rd, Suite 100, Willowbrook, IL 60527. If you need directions or assistance getting to our location, please call us at (888) 830-7678. We will be happy to help.

What programs are offered at ETI?

We offer hands-on training in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R); and Skilled Welding.

How long do programs take to complete?

We offer day and evening classes for both programs. The day classes last approximately 7 months, and the class schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for both the HVAC/R & Skilled Welding. The evening classes last approximately 12 months, and the class schedule is 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Thursday for HVAC/R and Skilled Welding.

How do I get started?

Contact the campus to schedule a tour with an admissions representative, and if you feel ETI is a fit for you, you will start the admissions and financial aid process. Is Financial Aid available?

Yes, Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. ETI also participates in, and is eligible for most VA and GI Bill™ benefit programs. As a first step, you should fill out a FAFSA to find out how much financial aid you qualify for. If you need any assistance you can contact one of our financial aid staff members to help you navigate through this process, and to learn more about other grant and loan programs.

Will ETI help me find a job once I’m trained?

The students who maintain the appropriate passing grades, meet or exceed the required attendance criteria, and are deemed in good standing with the campus can partner with the Career Services Department who will assist you during your career search process. In addition to career search, they will assist you with resume preparation, dressing for success, and interview/salary negotiation techniques. Although we do not guarantee employment or starting wages, we will assist you in getting your foot in the door with prospective employers. Click here to learn more about Career Services and Job Placement assistance.

What do I need to get started?

Prospective students should contact ETI to set up a tour, learn about the lab and curriculum, and to ask questions you may have at that time. If you feel ETI is the right place to start your new career training, give us a call and or visit the ETI campus today.  To apply for financial aid you will simply need proof of your High School diploma or GED.
